Transport
Wellington is situated on the eastern side of Shropshire. It has excellent road and rail links with the M54 linking Shropshire to the M6. Wolverhampton is about 30 minutes and Birmingham less than 45 minutes by road. To the West is the A5 that takes over from the M54 to Shrewsbury and then Welshpool, Mid Wales, Oswestry, Chester and North Wales.

Wellington has a very efficient bus and coach service. There are several local companies that operate regular services to and from Wellington from within and around the entire region and its outlying villages. There are also services to other parts of the country.
Wellington is close to 3 major airports, Birmingham an hour to the South East, the East Midlands Airport a little over an hour to the East and Manchester which is about the same distance to the North West.
