Vacancy – Deputy Town Clerk

Dear Prospective Applicant for the vacant post of Deputy Town Clerk
     Thank you for accessing details of the Deputy Town Clerk’s job. Please note the following:

  •  The closing date for receipt of applications is 31st January 2012;
  • We are hoping to arrange interviews during the week commencing 13th February 2012 for this post, which will become vacant on 16th February 2012;
  • The salary scale is Local Government NJC Scale 6 SO1/SO2 SCP 26-32 (currently £22,221-£27,052) commencing on Point 29 (£24,646) on 1st April 2012.

The Standing Orders for Wellington Town Council were last reviewed in November 2008.

Grants

 Wellington Town Council has limited financial resources to help organisations with grant aid.   Applications will be considered if, in the opinion of the Council, the grant will benefit the town of Wellington or all or some of its residents.  The application form will help the Council decide whether grant aid can be awarded and at what level.
