Households and residents in Telford and Wrekin can now get support locally to help them complete the Census 2021.

The census is a national survey that happens every 10years and gives us a picture of all the people and households in England and Wales.

The next one will take place on Sunday 21 March 2021 known as Census Day and for the first time ever people are being asked to take part online.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) organises the census in partnership with local authorities.

All kinds of organisations, from local authorities to charities, use the information to help provide the services we all need, including transport, education and healthcare. Without the census, it would be much more difficult to do this.

From early March households will receive a postcard from the ONS with details of how to complete the census online.

Census support centres will also be operating from Monday 1 March at Park Lane Centre in Woodside and the Hub on the Hill.

If you you would like support or know someone who would benefit from help call the team at:

Park Lane Centre on 01952 683 700 or Hub on the Hill on 01952 898 052

Paper forms of the census are available for those people that are unable to complete the Census online.
