WELLINGTON TOWN COUNCIL PHASE 2 OF THE REFURBISHMNENT WORKS TO BE COMPLETED

Following the re-location of the Town Council offices last April the Town Council is pleased to report that Phase 2 of the refurbishment works will commence on the 8th January 2018, and which are anticipated to take two weeks to complete. The works will provide enhanced provision for room users with the provision of a kitchenette to enable meeting room users access to limited refreshment facilities. The works will also provide a corridor that will enable the meeting room to be separated more easily from the office, together with a further wall which will enable the re-introduction of the former Lesley’s Room to provide a further enclosed smaller meeting room which will be separated from the main library public area.

Karen Roper, Town Clerk said that “these works will complete the refurbishment works that have already provided a modern office facility for the Town Council the local residents, staff and Members and ensure that the Town Council has a more visible presence in the Town”.
