Due to the Coronavirus government guidelines Wellington Town Council staff are working remotely and will do their best to maintain core services but this is dependent on availability of staff, technology and resources.  Please bear this in mind if there is a delay in answering your enquiry.

Community Support Helpline

Avoiding unnecessary social contact means some people can’t go out to buy food or pick up medication.  It’s inevitable that many of us will need additional help and support over the coming weeks.  So whilst there is extraordinary community spirit T & W have launched our new Community Support Helpline.

Some of our more vulnerable residents will now need additional help over the coming weeks and months such as for shopping, collecting prescriptions, dog walking etc… In order to offer support we have established a new Community Support Helpline for those people who may not have family, friends or neighbours who are able to help them with these basic tasks.

The phone number to call is 01952 382030, lines are open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 1pm until further notice.  People can also register for this support at any time on line at www.telford.gov.uk/isolationsupport.   If you or anyone in your community is concerned about a neighbour or friend who might need our support please don’t hesitate to get in touch either via phone or online.

Police Support: For anyone who is not abiding by the isolation rules please call 101
