Friday 6th May – Sunday 8th May
A 3 day festival with over 25 different events in 14 venues
in and around Wellington

26TH ANNUAL WELLINGTON FESTIVAL 6th – 8th MAY 2022

The Festival Team are pleased to advise that the 26th annual Wellington Festival will not be virtual!

Thank you for the excellent suggestions from the many Wellingtonians who have contacted us during our “ideas gathering” process. We were delighted to have received so many responses and have tried hard to incorporate most of them over the 3 day festival.

We hope that this 26th Festival for 2022 will offer something for everyone.

Starting at 1pm on Friday 6th May is the Wellington Festival Art Exhibition hosted by WelliArt on behalf of Wellington Town Council at Creative Training Spaces on Duke St and continuing almost non-stop through to Sunday evening at the Orbit

We have selected 14 different venues in and around the centre of Wellington and have sought to be inclusive and diverse in our wide range of over 25 performances and events.

All events are free of charge (unless otherwise stated) with no need to book.  Please be aware events are on a first-come, first-served basis for indoor events where seating is limited.

Please note there will be a bucket collection for the Mayor’s charities, (Wellington YMCA and TACT) at the end of some of the festival events.

The festival team are made up of Cllr A Lowe, Cllr P Fairclough, Cllr Joan Gorse, Cllr J Pierce, Cllr J Alvey and Festival Officer Paola Armstrong

We hope you enjoy the variety of events we have put together for you and if you’d like to give your feedback, please email: Paola.Armstrong@telford.gov.uk

We look forward to seeing you!

Kindest regards,

Cllr Anthony Lowe (Chair)
