Wellington has been twinned with Châtenay-Malabry, just south of Paris for over 20 years and this relationship is going from strength to strength thanks to support from Wellington Town Council and thanks to an active Twinning Association, led by our Chair, Mrs Laurence Moses.

New members are always welcome and membership costs £25pa

Every year, an exchange takes place alternating in one direction and then the other.

Our French visitors are hosted in families or with individuals in the Wellington area, usually in June and new lasting friendships are often formed.

In turn, we are hosted in Châtenay-Malabry the following year in either June or July and of course the French hospitality is second to none.

We also have a varied social programme here including walks, meals or drinks together, quiz nights, visits to The Orbit to watch French films etc. Some but not all of these activities are to raise funds to allow us to provide a warm and generous Wellington welcome to our French visitors.
