  • Works will be completed by Balfour Beatty and specialist sub-contractors Quantum Traffic Management, GN Groundworks, Prysmian, WJ Lining & Tarmac.

When are we planning to deliver this work?

The work is due to take place on 06/01/25 and be completed by early May (weekdays only) weather permitting. Please see below the traffic management phasing for the duration of these works:

Phase 2 – 06/01/25-19/01/25 – 24hr one-way closure

Phase 3 – 20/01/25-02/02/25 – 24hr one-way closure

Phase 1 – 03/02/25-23/02/25 – 24hr road closure

Phase 4 – 24/02/25-09/03/25 – 24hr one-way closure

Phase 5 – 10/03/25-23/03/25 – 24hr one-way closure

Phase 6 – 24/03/25-06/04/25 – 24hr one-way closure

Phase 7 – 07/04/25-27/04/25 – 24hr one-way closure

Phase 8 – 28/04/25-04/05/25 – Night closures (including Vineyard Road), 19:00-05:00

These works are being delivered as part of the Council’s investment programme to ‘Protect, Care and Invest to create a better borough’. Over the next four years, over £40m is being invested to keep neighbourhoods safe, clean and well connected. The ‘Pride in our Community’ Highways Capital Programme will deliver improvements to infrastructure including roads, footpaths, sustainable transport, road safety, street furniture, drains and structures. Our highways vision is to ‘Keep Telford Moving’ and in 2024/2025 we will invest £9m to deliver a number of improvement schemes across the borough.
