• Applicants are required to produce a short poem with the theme ‘Bright Side of Life’
  • Applicants must be a resident of Wellington
  • The Resident Poet post will run from 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026
  • A minimum of eight poems will be required to mark significant Wellington or national events
  • There are no age restrictions but under 16’s will need to be accompanied by an adult for events
  • The winer will receive a prize of £500

  • All entries must be received before 12.00pm on Friday 21st March 2025
