Over the August bank holiday weekend, Wellington will be hosting an exciting new Urban Scarecrow Festival. Residents are invited to get creative with recycled materials and display a scarecrow in their front gardens or windows. Entries will be judged for a prize in the following categories – Best Use Of Recycled Materials, Friendliest Scarecrow, Best Scarecrow Name.
